In this video, we'll show you how you can install compact hinges with face frame cabinets. We'll also describe the process below the video as well.
The first step in this process, assuming you ordered your doors already bored for hinges, is to line up the dowels with the pre-drilled holes. Use a rubber mallet to tap the hinges into place.
In order to install the door properly, you'll want to make sure it lined up. The best way to do this is using a spacer. The spacer you use will depend on how much overly you have.
Once you have the door properly lined up, you can then secure it to the face frame of the cabinet with screws.
We hope this guide helps you to properly install your compact hinges. We realize that this is a very simplified instructional. However, these steps are similar to the ones we went into great detail with in our in-depth video and article on how to install long soft close hinges.
